Kommetjie is only about 2 km wide, but it has a number of restaurants, pubs, fast food places and 2 delicatessens. We also have Imhoff farm 5 minutes drive from here with a coffee shop, farm stall and Blue Water Cafe.
Our Local Pubs are the English Bulldog and Fisherman's. During the rugby season these pubs are packed with locals and other yokels. You can also order decent meals at both the pubs.
We have a coffee shop called Espresso.kom with great curries on a Thursday. They also have a gourmet burger night.
On the first Monday of each month we have a poetry evening at Espresso.kom hosted by Hugh Hodge.
Just Foods has all kinds of everything; bread, butter, meat, fish, cans of just about anything you care to mention, rice, spices, tea, coffee, wines, etc.
Our local cafe also has the normal cafe fare.
